Where is Buster located?
We work in-person at our office in Pleasant Grove, UT.
Are you okay with remote employment?
No, we only work in-person. If you don’t live in Utah, we will cover re-location costs.
Have you raised any money?
Yes. We recently raised $2.4m from investors like General Catalyst, Y Combinator, General Advance, Kulveer Taggar, and others.
Do you provide any healthcare benefits?
Yes - we cover 100% of medical, dental, and vision for employees and dependents.
Do you plan to train your own models?
Currently, we only use SOTA models from Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI. We have a robust suite of proprietary evals (not open-sourced) that we constantly use to optimize Buster, identify which models are best for which aspects of the platform, etc.
In the future, we plan on training our own models to optimize for cost-savings and reduced latency.
How many people do you plan to hire?
We plan to grow the team to ~8 people over the coming months. We want to build a large ($10b+), independent business that lasts for decades. We will increase headcount as quickly as revenue grows.
What’s the interview process like?
A 30-minute screening chat in our office (or on a video call) to make sure we’re on the same page. After that, we may give you a technical take home project to see how quickly you can pick up building AI agents (it should take ~3-5 hours). From there, we may invite you to come in and talk through what you built. We try to be extremely transparent throughout the entire process.
